  Linda Murray – Lessons & Office Manager

Linda was born and raised in the Castleford/Buhl area.  She attended Bethany University in Santa Cruz, California, where she pursued her music degree.  She travelled extensively as a singer and piano accompanist for various musical ensembles and choirs.  She has also directed choirs, produced television presentations of Christmas musicals and taught in schools ranging from grades preschool through high school. She has taught voice,  piano, composition and music theory for over 30 years. She is committed to grounding her students in music theory and also encourages composition as part of the student experience.  Linda has been a staff member at MVSPA for five years and also serves as the office manager and bookkeeper.

 

Linda is married to a local pastor who is also a teacher.  They have four children and six grandchildren.  She enjoys gardening, decorating and reading.
