Showing the Love of Christ in a Practical Way
Every year there are hundreds of children who go without the proper food and resources during Christmas. TFRC is committed to displaying the love or Christ to these families.
Know of a Family in Need this Year?
Christmas Assistance will once again lend a helping hand to families recommended to us by people from our congregation. If you are in need, or know of a family in need in the Magic Valley, please download an application for assistance. If you are involved in local mission projects or an organization that assists others, please help us find the families that are in need. Please consider signing up to help with the shopping for the families in need.
Contact the church office with questions (208) 733-6128.

Angel Tree
For 2.7 million children in the U.S., their story may be filled with the abandonment, loneliness, and shame that come from having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration. Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. This unique program gives you an opportunity to share God’s love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners. For more information contact Kristy at kristy@tfrc.org or 208-733-6128 ext. 109.
Operation Christmas Child
TFRC is committed to being the hands and feet of Christ to these families. Families from our church fill a shoe box with small toys, books, and hygiene items, and a simple shoebox gift results in Evangelism, Discipleship, and Multiplication. Each box reaches on average 7-10 people who hear about Jesus. Each area has local teachers who teach a 9-week Bible course to the recipients of the boxes. After the kids “graduate” from the course, they get their own Bible!!! The greatest gift we can give to the recipients, is to PRAY.
This year TFRC collected 367 boxes and it was the first year being the local drop off location collecting 2,777. For more information contact Sheryl 208-539-6655.
